Abstract
The monograph reflects various scientific approaches to defining the concept of «hardiness», its structure and role in the functioning of the individual. The monograph also highlights the theoretical foundations of the formation of resilience in children with visual impairments in crisis situations, defines the nature of personality resilience, factors of its formation in childhood and its impact on the psychosocial development and functioning of children with visual impairments. Much attention is paid to familiarizing readers with the features of personal functioning at the mental and social level of children with visual impairments in preschool and primary school age. The monograph may be useful to scientists and postgraduate students, teachers and students of pedagogical colleges and universities, psychologists, teachers of general and special preschool institutions, inclusive resource centers.
