Abstract

The theses present the web resource "Scientists of the NAPS of Ukraine" (National Academy of Educational Sciences), developed by the V.O. Sukhomlynsky State Scientific and Pedagogical Library to promote the achievements of national scholars in pedagogy and psychology. The author emphasizes the biographical method as a key tool for implementing humanistic principles in education. The biographical method involves studying the life paths of prominent figures to understand their development and motivation. It is highlighted that this method contributes to the "humanization" of educational content, overcoming the technocratic approach, and fulfilling the cultural-historical and educational function through emotional connection to personal achievements. The paper concludes that the biographical method holds significant potential in learning and has prognostic perspectives for integration with biographical psychology.
