Abstract
This practical guide covers the training of teaching staff at vocational education institutions in the effective use of a digital platform for the professional training of skilled workers in the machine-building industry. It reveals the theoretical foundations of the digital transformation of education and the psychological and pedagogical aspects of developing the digital competence of teachers, and presents the structure and functional capabilities of the digital platform. Considerable attention is paid to the practical aspects of working with training modules, virtual laboratories, simulations, communication tools, as well as the organisation of adaptive testing and individual educational trajectories for students. Separate sections are devoted to issues of cybersecurity, digital hygiene, preserving the mental health of teachers, and ethical norms of interaction in the digital environment. Methodological recommendations are provided for designing a digital educational environment, developing training courses, organising distance and blended learning, as well as algorithms for methodological support for the implementation of a digital platform in vocational education institutions. The guide is intended for teaching staff and methodologists at vocational education institutions, specialists at scientific and methodological centres, teachers and students at higher education institutions, researchers, and anyone interested in the digitalisation of vocational education and innovation in training personnel for the machine-building industry.
