Abstract

The aim of the article is to explore gamification as an innovative tool for implementing the technology of unity between physical and military-patriotic education of learners. To achieve this goal, the following objectives were identified: to clarify the essence of gamification in the educational context; to analyze its potential for integrating the physical and military-patriotic components of education; to identify effective models, techniques, and game-based practices that contribute to the formation of key competencies among learners. The theoretical foundation is based on methods of analysis and synthesis, comparative and systemic approaches, as well as elements of pedagogical modeling. Generalization methods were used to determine the prospects for implementing gamification in pedagogical practice. It has been established that gamification serves as an effective means of increasing motivation, enhancing personal involvement, and developing integrated qualities such as physical endurance, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and readiness to defend the homeland. Examples of games that combine elements of sports and military-applied training were analyzed, and their educational value was identified. Particular attention was given to a comparative analysis of Ukrainian and foreign games in the context of physical and military- patriotic education. The combination of the best traditions of Ukrainian folk games with modern foreign approaches to gamification allows the formation of a holistic educational system that meets current challenges and educational needs. It has been proven that gamification contributes to the creation of an educational environment in which physical development and patriotic education are effectively integrated. The study emphasizes the importance of purposeful implementation of gamified methods for realizing the unity of physical and military-patriotic education, which, in turn, contributes to the formation of a well-rounded, active, and conscientious individual. Prospects for further research include the development of structured models of a gamified educational process with an emphasis on physical culture and patriotic values.
