Abstract

The analytical review ‘Information and Analytical Support of Teacher's Professional Development: Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in the Educational Process’ was carried out to fulfil the tasks of the applied research ‘Information and Analytical Support of Digital Transformation of Education and Pedagogy: Domestic and Foreign Experience’ (2023-2025). It is established that the digital transformation of education is changing the educational environment, and digital technologies are becoming an integral part of an effective and high-quality educational process. It is stated that one of the current factors in the digitalisation of education is the use of artificial intelligence (hereinafter – AI) technologies, which increasingly affects the organisation and implementation of the educational process, and the development of digital competence of teachers, in particular its component – AI competence, is one of the key aspects of successful teaching of academic disciplines and training of students. The review is focused on the implementation of information and analytical support for the professional development of teachers on the use of AI technologies in the educational process in the new realities of the information society. A number of scientific papers, methodological recommendations, scientific and methodological manuals are reviewed and analysed, which present the results of an analytical search for opportunities and advantages of using AI by educators, describe the potential and algorithm for using AI tools, provide examples of using AI for more effective interaction between teachers and students, and consider the AI competence of teachers in terms of maintaining academic integrity in the use of new technology in the context of the digital transformation of education.
