Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting the issue of didactic implementation of the selective academic discipline «Psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of individuals with intellectual disabilities» within the framework of teaching the educational and scientific programs «Special Psychology» and «Special Pedagogy» for applicants for a PhD in the specialties C4. Psychology (fields of knowledge: C. Social Sciences, Journalism and Information) and A6. Special Education (fields of knowledge: A. Education). The paper presents the goals, main objectives and expected learning outcomes of postgraduate students in the discipline. The main program competencies (integrated, general and special) are indicated, the formation of which is facilitated by studying the selective academic discipline. Its content is presented, grouped into seven topics around three content modules, which was determined based on the focus of the educational and scientific programs «Special Psychology» and «Special Education» on deepening the theoretical knowledge of postgraduate students on psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of individuals with special education needs, at developing competencies necessary for the development of innovative scientific approaches and methods for studying the psyche, as well as practical skills in psychological diagnostics and counseling for work in the fields of special education and psychology.
