Abstract
The article reveals the current aspects of updating the educational and scientific programs «Special Pedagogy» and «Psychology» in accordance with the approved Standard of Higher Education of Ukraine for the third (educational and scientific) level. Special attention is paid to the developed academic discipline «Modern Technologies of Teaching and Supporting Children with Intellectual Development Disorders», which is integrated for applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in two specialties – special education and psychology. The goal, objectives, structure and content of the course aimed at the formation of professional, general subject, research and pedagogical competencies are outlined. The discipline covers the study of innovative approaches to learning, correctional and developmental support, the use of digital technologies, the development of individual educational plans and monitoring the effectiveness of pedagogical strategies. The importance of an interdisciplinary approach, individualization of the educational trajectory and an interactive learning environment for the formation of professional maturity of applicants is emphasized. The article also highlights the methodological aspects of teaching the discipline. The features of the organization of the educational process are analyzed, which is based on the integration of interdisciplinary approaches, the use of innovative pedagogical technologies and the digitalization of education. Special attention is paid to the formation of applicants' competencies in the field of adaptation and implementation of modern methods of correctional pedagogy, the development of scientific independence, critical thinking and research skills. The role of interactive methods, such as case studies, project activities, discussions and game technologies, in the formation of practical skills and professional skills of future teachers is separately highlighted. Practical classes, in particular, modeling pedagogical situations and developing correctional programs, emphasize the importance of adapting educational material to the individual needs of children with special educational needs. The results of the study contribute to the improvement of educational programs and methods of training doctors of philosophy in the field of special education and psychology.
