Abstract
Ukraine is currently enduring a prolonged state of martial law. It is exceptionally crucial to address the immediate challenges associated with overcoming the destructive consequences of this period, particularly those concerning the maintenance of Ukrainians’ psychological resilience. Concurrently, a time will arrive demanding the country's post-war recovery from the widespread stress of conflict and enabling the building of its future. The Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support of Education of the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine (headed by M.L. Rostoka, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher) conducts systematic applied scientific research of a source study, historiographical, and analytical nature concerning the information and analytical support for education, pedagogy, and psychology. A key objective of the Department's research is the creation of a knowledge base on specialised domestic and foreign psychological periodicals, along with the presentation of reference and review-based scientific output regarding the development of psychological science during Ukraine's wartime and post-war periods. The proposed reference bulletin, "Digest of Leading Specialised Publications on Psychological Sciences," and the information and analytical reference guide, "Psychological Support for the War and Post-War Periods in Ukraine," constitute the final output of the applied scientific research project, "Information and Analytical Support for Psychological Education during the War and Post-War Periods in Ukraine" (2024–2025) (Scientific Supervisor: O. P. Luchaninova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Leading Researcher of the Department). The reference bulletin includes analytical reviews of Ukraine's information and educational space in psychology, psychological education and science in foreign countries, and an analytical reference on foreign journals, among other resources. The guide features analytical, bibliographic, and abstract reviews pertaining to psychological support during Ukraine's war and post-war periods. Psychological support in the current context is broadly manifested across scientific, journalistic, and methodological literature, encompassing areas such as: psychological support for individuals during the war; psychological support for the educational process; support as assistance for servicemen and their families, and for the civilian population; and psychological support for military personnel who have been in combat zones for extended periods.
