Abstract
Introduction. In war conditions, the complexity and intensity of the work of the Wounded Servicemen Rehabilitation Center personnel (junior and middle medical personnel, physical therapists, physiologists, psychologists, social workers, managers, etc.) contribute to their burnout. Aim: to explore the impact of educational and professional characteristics of the Wounded Servicemen Rehabilitation Center personnel on their burnout. Methods: Burnout Syndrome in the Professions of the "Human-Human" System by K. Maslach and S. Jackson and the authors' questionnaire-passport. Results. The educational and professional characteristics of the Wounded Servicemen Rehabilitation Center personnel (education level, work category (depending on the field of activity), rehab center work experience, length of service in a current position) were shown to affect the personnels' emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. Besides, the personnel's education level had a relationship with their reduction of professional achievements. The education level of the Wounded Servicemen Rehabilitation Center personnel was the strongest burnout factor, the personnel's work category (depending on the field of activity) was the second strongest burnout factor, while the personnel's work experience (rehab center work experience, length of service in a current position) was the weakest burnout factor. Conclusions. The obtained findings can be useful for providing psychological help to the personnel of the Wounded Servicemen Rehabilitation Centers in preventing and overcoming burnout.
