Abstract
The manual is devoted to the analysis of the features of psychological diagnostics and psychological assistance to the individual in war conditions. The concepts of traumatic identity, moral distress and moral trauma are highlighted, the features of experiencing compassion fatigue, grief and loss, in particular, uncertain, in war conditions are outlined, as well as the resources of adaptation of Ukrainians to war conditions. The methods of determining the impact of war trauma on the personality, the diagnosis of compassion fatigue and emotional burnout, as well as aspects of the military identity of Ukrainians are described, exercises for working with moral trauma and grief, to promote post-traumatic growth, metaphorical resource exercises, as well as exercises for relaxation and the formation of military identity of children and adolescents are provided. The manual will be useful to psychologists, teachers, social workers, psychotherapists, and everyone who is interested in psychological counseling of children and adults in war conditions.
