Abstract

The paper analyzes the role of multimedia technologies in scientific and pedagogical activities. The concepts of educational media, interactive multimedia, multimedia technologies, etc. are covered. The elements of multimedia technologies such as text, images and graphics, audio, video and animation are considered. It is concluded that multimedia technologies play an important role, allowing students and postgraduates to act as designers, to gain knowledge through graphic images.
