Abstract
Volunteering in Ukraine is voluntary action aimed at the fastest possible victory. The source of such actions is the desire to help people be safe and happy. The volunteer's actions are caused by cultural life meanings, points of view, facts and points of view on these facts. The article draws attention to the stages and periods of development of the volunteer's life competence, motivation and worldview structures of the volunteer's consciousness. The stages of development of life competence of a volunteer are briefly characterized. Also, the article reveals the psychological mechanisms of development of life competence of a volunteer, which include: social learning, self-reflection and self-regulation, development of emotional intelligence, development of stress resistance. It is important that during all stages the volunteer receives support from the organization\mentors\helpers. The development of a volunteer's life competence is a process that covers several periods, each of which has its own characteristics and tasks. Volunteering sets a high bar in terms of personal resources, emotional stability and social skills, which are formed gradually through a series of periods. The article also describes the main periods of development of the life competence of a volunteer, which can be considered: the preparatory period (motivational and cognitive), the adaptation period at this stage adaptation to new conditions and roles takes place, the period of competence formation (operational) is the period when the volunteer masters basic skills and competencies necessary for effective work, the period of self-realization and professional growth, the period of maturity and maintenance of life balance is the final stage when the volunteer reaches the level of personal maturity, which allows maintaining a balance between volunteering and personal life. The article also briefly describes the key factors affecting the development of a volunteer's life competence in each of its periods, namely: support from the team and mentors, opportunities for reflection and self-discovery, stress resistance and self-regulation skills. The development of a volunteer's life competence is a constant process of improvement and self-realization, which helps to achieve psychological well-being and professional satisfaction. The study of the problem of the development of life competence of volunteers is necessary to ensure their effective work both during military operations and in the period of post-war recovery.
