Abstract
In order to implement the development of digital competence of researchers and employees of higher education institutions using the ERIH PLUS reference database, a special course “Development of digital competence of researchers and research and pedagogical staff using the ERIH PLUS reference index” has been developed, which consists of two modules: 1. Digital competence of researchers and pedagogical staff: challenges and opportunities. Overview of international scientometric databases and their purpose and 2. ERIH PLUS database on the Dimensions platform as a quality tool in European science. The special course includes: content modules, instructional and methodological materials, web resources, monographs, manuals, scientific articles, online lectures, presentations, etc. Students can be trained remotely on the basis of e-learning software platforms such as Google Classroom, Zoom, Google Meet, Moodle, Prometheus, etc. The methodology has a practical orientation and is intended for researchers and research and teaching staff in the field of pedagogical sciences and can be used in the system of postgraduate pedagogical and higher education. The training of students using the technology can be implemented both in person at the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine or other scientific institutions of the NAES of Ukraine, and in distance or blended learning through the development of a mass online course. The presented Special Course includes: I. Explanatory note. II. Calendar and thematic planning. III. Content of the special course. IV. Assessment of students' learning achievements. V. List of recommended sources.
