Abstract

The presentation explores the theoretical foundations and practical approaches to studying the history of pedagogy through the lens of decolonial discourse. The author examines the concepts of decolonial pedagogy, epistemological decolonization, contextualization, and dialogical historiography, offering new methodological guidelines for researching the biographies of Ukrainian educators. Special attention is given to the contribution of prominent cultural and educational figures to national-patriotic education and the development of Ukrainian identity. The material is relevant for scholars, teachers, students, and anyone interested in the issues of decolonization in the history of education.
