Abstract

Methodological recommendations concern the contribution of the subject of biology to the formation of natural science competence of gymnasium students in accordance with the concept of the New Ukrainian School. The competence potential of the biology course, the features of the formation of research skills, the use of situational tasks and the features of creating educational projects in biology that can be used in the learning process are revealed. Intended for biology teachers, methodologists of regional institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education.
