Abstract

The article discusses the main issues of preserving the reproductive health of adolescents with intellectual disabilities. The content of foreign educational programs and methods of forming skills for maintaining menstrual hygiene in children with intellectual disabilities are analyzed. The benefits of early school preparation of girls (before the onset of menarche), the importance of cooperation between schools and parents, as well as their partnership with health care providers are indicated.
