Abstract

This article explores the development of learning-to-learn skills in primary school students through digitalized foreign language education. Based on O. Ya. Savchenko’s framework, which outlines motivational, cognitive, activity-based, self-assessment, and reflective components, the study examines their adaptation to modern digital learning environments. The use of ICT in English lessons fosters learner autonomy, intrinsic motivation, and self-regulation, while digital resources provide opportunities for practical skill development. Combining established pedagogical principles with digital tools is essential for updating primary education content and enhancing learning quality in today’s dynamic educational context.
