Abstract
During the global digital transformation in society and education in particular, it is necessary to analyze the adaptive capabilities of AI for PhD dissertation research. We believe that the role of AI in PhD research will not be controversial and can be quite honest on the part of PhD students if it is used correctly as a tool. The key to this is to understand the limitations and use the capabilities of AI to enhance, rather than replace, human knowledge. It all depends on the person: not to present AI scientific research as your own original thoughts without proper citation or critical evaluation is precisely a violation of academic integrity.
