Abstract

The article is devoted to the current problem of finding ways to reduce speech anxiety as one of the recognized causes of speech disorders in older preschool age children and a significant factor that has a negative effect on the child's personal development. Different views on understanding speech anxiety are presented, and the currently proposed ways to overcome it are outlined. Based on modern neurophysiological research, a conclusion is made regarding the prospects for developing a method for overcoming speech anxiety using calming strategies in older preschool age children with speech disorders.
