Abstract

The article considers the problem of hardiness of people with disabilities in the process of rehabilitation. The connection between environmental factors and hardiness as an integral property of personality is noted. The relationship between the quality of life of people with disabilities and their psychological characteristics is considered. It is analyzed that the hardiness is multifaceted and includes an unlimited range of functions. Therefore, more attention should be paid to the development of skills: self-control, orientation, communication, control over their behavior, movement, ability to study and work, which affects the hardiness of individuals with disabilities. It is noted that hardiness is seen as an adaptive mechanism of personality, allows you to model the life goals of people with disabilities after rehabilitation, to see future prospects today. It is determined that for the successful completion of social rehabilitation of people with disabilities, first of all, it is necessary to take into account their vital interests and aspirations, as well as intrinsic motivation to work. The importance of social rehabilitation for people with disabilities is related to the opportunities that a person has the right to realize or not. Sustainability has been shown to be a key personality variable that mediates the impact of stressors on physical health as well as performance. For the successful social rehabilitation of people with disabilities, first of all, it is necessary to take into account their vital interests and aspirations, as well as intrinsic motivation to work, so that they could positively assess changes in life after participating in the rehabilitation program.
