Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the results of an online survey that investigated the features of self-trust, trust in the world, and trust in others, as well as self-respect and self-confidence. In addition to standard instruments, an original questionnaire was used to identify the factors that strengthen self-trust. A significant portion of the sample consisted of forcibly displaced persons (FDPs), which made it possible to establish typical consequences of trauma for this group in the context of trust and self-respect. Based on the data obtained, practical recommendations are formulated that can be used to develop psychological assistance technologies for IDPs, aimed at strengthening their self-trust during wartime.
