Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of creating a high-quality teaching aid as a component of modern scientific and methodological support of the educational process. The relevance of the problem is substantiated, its unresolved aspects are emphasized. The key concepts of the study are defined. The shortcomings of electronic publications in general and teaching aids in particular are identified, and their causes are outlined. Research and publications on the problem are analyzed, and attention is focused on unresolved issues. The goal and objectives of the study are formulated. The methods used in the research process are described. The classifications of teaching aids in electronic format based on different criteria are described. A generalized definition of a teaching aid is given, and the requirements for it are determined: general, pedagogical (didactic and methodological), ergonomic, and technical. Attention is focused on the requirements for the electronic format of this type of teaching aids, its advantages compared to printed ones. Varieties of teaching aids are highlighted; their specificity in terms of recommendations as a separate genre has been clarified. The purpose and objectives of the teaching aid have been defined. Its functions have been characterized, the optimal structure has been substantiated, and the predicted content of each of the components has been revealed. The factors that influence the quality of the educational process using the educational tool in electronic format have been determined. The tasks effectively solved by using such a manual in electronic format have been highlighted; the advantages of using the electronic format of the teaching aid, including clarity and the ability to diversify the educational material, have been characterized. The parameters of efficiency, and therefore the quality of the teaching aid, have been determined: didactic, methodological, educational, socio-cultural, and value-based. Recommendations for creating an electronic version of the teaching aid have been provided.
