Abstract
Taking into account the significant achievements of scientists and sufficient regulatory support for the digitalization of the educational process, the article updates the problem of using information technologies to prepare students for choosing a study profile and the field of future professional activity. Taking into account the requirements of the final stage of the reform of the New Ukrainian School, it is noted that career orientation support for profile and professional selfdetermination appears extremely urgent. In accordance with the goal, the scientific and methodological problems of the implementation of digitalization in the modern educational space are analyzed; the experience of using information technologies in career guidance of students is considered. It was determined that the digital space not only provides an opportunity to integrate into the world community, but also to be the subject of one's own career perspective. To confirm the relevance of the topic of the article, the results of the diagnosis of the formation of career orientation among 10th-grade students of general secondary education institutions are provided. Based on the leading ideas, principles and principles of educating children and youth in the digital space, laid down in the Concept of educating children and youth in the digital space, some aspects of the creation of a digital educational career guidance space of an educational institution are briefly outlined, in particular, the content of the process of profile and professional self-determination of students. The dominant principles of creating a digital educational career guidance space of an educational institution have been determined. It is emphasized that professional information and professional diagnostics, as components of school career guidance, are most actively used in digital technologies, but the content of professional counseling of students of general school education institutions in digital content remains almost undeveloped. The content of professional consultation, modern approaches to its implementation are revealed. It was concluded that the creation of a career guidance information environment of an educational institution on scientific grounds will open up fundamentally new opportunities for conducting modern, high-quality professional guidance with students, which is aimed at satisfying the professional and career needs of students, effective profile and professional self-determination.
