Abstract
The proposed report presents an analysis of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Seminar titled "Information, Educational and Psychological Support for National-Patriotic Education During Ukraine's Wartime and Post-War Periods". The seminar was organized and conducted by the Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support of Education of the V.O. Sukhomlynskyі State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine, in accordance with the planned activities of the National Academy of Educational Sciences (NAES) of Ukraine. The event's content was aimed at implementing the Concept of National-Patriotic Education in Ukraine's education system and to fulfil the objectives of the applied scientific research "Information and Analytical Support for Psychological Science During Ukraine's Wartime and Post-War Periods," which is being conducted in 2024–2025. During the seminar, the main ideas, interim results of the scientific research, and its sub-topic "Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of the Psychology of Education and Self-Education” were revealed. The results included creating conditions for youth participation in patriotic activities; familiarizing educators and students with tools for forming a new generation of Ukrainian patriots; emphasizing language as a security tool; focusing on issues of civic-patriotic education, and the development and upbringing of patriotism and citizenship; facilitating experience exchange between scientists and practitioners; developing practices for interacting with a large audience of like-minded individuals; and creating information resonance, supporting, and publicly discussing issues of educational and psychological support for national-patriotic education. The energy of the was directed towards understanding the importance of national identity during wartime, seeking personal identification, and recognizing its significance for others. The impact of this event lies in providing information support for national-patriotic education, not merely as an additional tool, but as an integral part of forming a conscious citizen, which plays a key role in today's world where digital technologies are deeply integrated into all spheres of life. Information support helps to address the issues of pedagogical and psychological influence, and the formation of national identity. Ukrainian content presented on the Internet, social media, and video hosting platforms becomes a source of knowledge about Ukraine, its culture, and values. Effective information support helps to build psychological resilience to associated with information warfare and events in the country. contributes to the development of emotional intelligence, teaching empathy, compassion, and responsibility.
