Abstract
We live in a time of digital transformation of society and this affects modern education, as digital technologies are actively used for the professional activities of teachers. The role of the teacher is being transformed, who becomes a mentor, facilitator and forms his public image in the digital environment. The formation of a teacher's personal brand is becoming a necessary step towards professional growth and affirmation of the teacher's individuality in the conditions of openness of the information space, high competition in the educational services market and demand for high-quality, innovative teaching. A personal brand helps a teacher position himself as an expert, he begins to be recognized, additional attention is paid to his work by the target audience (students, parents, colleagues), which allows him to actively participate in professional events, professional communities and introduce others to his author's work. In Ukraine, in the context of the new Ukrainian school, a change in the role of the teacher is envisaged, who must be autonomous, creative and have a sufficient level of digital competence to effectively carry out his/her activities (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 2016). The need to integrate digital tools into the professional activities of educators, including digital reputation management and digital identity development, is stated in the Concept for the Development of Digital Competencies of Pedagogical Workers (Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, 2021).
