Abstract

One of the areas of activity of the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is the training of specialists of the highest qualification level. The presence of a wide range of elective disciplines provides an opportunity to form individual educational trajectories of postgraduate students through the choice of educational courses in the volume provided for by the legislation. The purpose of the educational discipline "Psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the development of persons with hearing impairments" is to form in higher education applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (postgraduate students) professional competencies that provide the ability to create and adapt diagnostic methods in accordance with the purpose of assessment, identify special educational needs of persons with hearing impairments, analyze the results of a comprehensive psychological and pedagogical study of child development, plan the organization of the educational environment and the necessary support; apply the results when performing tasks of scientific research and applied activities. The purpose of the article: to present the main aspects of the training program for specialists of the highest qualification level “Psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the development of individuals with hearing impairments”. The main methods are: theoretical analysis of literary sources on the problem of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the development of children with hearing impairments; analysis of regulatory documents, materials of the platform for automating the work of inclusive resource centers (AS “IRC”), which ensures the functioning of a single information environment in the field of inclusive education; generalization of practical experience in correctional and developmental work with children with hearing impairments. The training course reveals the essence of the main concepts, conceptual provisions and approaches to the psychological and pedagogical assessment of the main areas of child development, features of the organization of diagnostic procedures, generalization of results and determination of recommendations for teachers and parents.
