It is emphasized that the significance of science is undeniable, because thanks to it, the accumulation and transformation of knowledge necessary for improving the life of society, solving a wide range of various problems and creating new opportunities takes place. That is why scientific education is of great importance as a purposeful system of creative scientific thinking in the process of acquiring subjectively and objectively new knowledge using methods of scientific cognition (problem, research, project-oriented), dynamic educational programs (Encyclopedia… : 630). The purpose of the article is: – to highlight the importance of training highly professional scientific personnel through postgraduate studies, in particular at the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; – to clarify the possibilities of variable overcoming of the consequences of modern challenges facing both the structural unit itself and postgraduate students in particular; – to conduct a structural analysis of the working program of the academic discipline «Logopsychology», its role in the educational process of training candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education. When writing the article, we used theoretical methods, in particular, the processing of the scientific psychological and pedagogical source base, the analysis of observations during the period of lecturing, teaching and practical activities, and the systematization of the results of a questionnaire among candidates for the educational and scientific level of higher education. It is emphasized that the academic community of the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has developed updated educational and scientific programs «Special Pedagogy» (specialty A6 Special Education (by specialization) and «Special Psychology» (specialty C4 Psychology) (2025), according to which working programs of basic and elective academic disciplines have been created. One of such disciplines is logopsychology – a promising branch of special psychology, a relatively young psychological science (Konoplyasta, Sak, 2010: 8). The article indicates the goal and objectives of the logopsychology course for graduate students, presents the subject of the discipline program, the specifics of assessing academic achievements, outlines binary methods of presenting information, and detailed methods of stimulating and increasing motivation for learning.
