Abstract

Online course program "Peer-reviewing in the era of open science: new challenges and opportunities", advanced training for reviewers. From 06/25/2024 to 07/16/2024, the online course "Peer-reviewing in the era of open science: new challenges and opportunities" was held. The training course is aimed at reviewers of scientific materials (with and without experience), editors of scientific journals, researchers, as well as anyone who seeks to improve their review skills and stay up to date with current trends in science. This course is aimed at: understanding the concept of open science and how it affects the review process and how its principles can be used to improve the quality of scientific publications; mastering the latest tools and methods; getting acquainted with digital platforms and innovative technologies that simplify the review process and make it more transparent; developing review skills; developing skills to provide constructive feedback, analyze scientific articles and other materials in open access conditions; familiarization with ethical aspects and challenges; consideration of the issue of confidentiality, transparency and objectivity in the modern scientific environment.
