Abstract
The war in Ukraine has led to a sharp increase in the number of internally displaced persons, among whom families with children with special educational needs (SEN) remain a particularly vulnerable group. These families are simultaneously experiencing the consequences of traumatization, the loss of a stable educational environment, and the loss of stable channels of psychological and social support. These challenges are exacerbated by limited access to specialized services in host communities, legal uncertainty of status, and information isolation. In such conditions, socio-psychological assistance is not only a form of support, but also a necessary condition for the integration, stabilization, and development of children and their families. This assistance should take into account individual needs, cultural and linguistic context, as well as the principles of inclusiveness, dignity, and sustainability.
