Abstract
An analytical review of training programs and support programs for internally displaced persons in the context of non-formal education is presented. As a result of the analysis of scientific, literary, statistical, and analytical sources found that in non-formal education, training programs for internally displaced persons are offered by public organ¬izations, charitable foundations, and various centres. Among the public organizations that actively organize and implement educational and social programs for the training of internally displaced persons (IDPs) are the Inter¬national Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the In¬ternational 1 Research and Exchanges Board (IREX in Ukraine), the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine (UNHCR), the Red Cross, and IDP Councils. There are currently over 800 IDP Councils in Ukraine. Their members include IDPs. Among the primary tasks of the Councils, such as the adaptation and integration of IDPs into territorial com¬munities, providing them with housing and employment, psychosocial, medical, and legal assistance, there are also points concerning the involvement of IDPs in the development and control of regulatory acts, submission of proposals and recommendations on the development of public-private partnerships to address adaptation and integration issues. In particular, this includes training and workshops. Among the charitable foundations that are engaged in training and support for internally displaced persons (IDPs), the following are well-known in Ukraine: the Renaissance Foundation, the Stabilization Support Services Charitable Foundation, the Ukrainian Women’s Fund, the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation, the Peaceful Sky of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, and others. Their activities aim to create favorable conditions for IDPs to restore peaceful life and realize their abili¬ties and potential in new local communities. Among the centers of non-formal education, the following are wor¬thy of attention: vocational education and training centers of the State Employment Service, integrated centers of comprehensive support Brave&Safe, small and medium-sized business development centers, entrepreneurship support centers, and others. The Centers’ activities aim to support and improve the mental health of Ukrainians, resolve legal and social issues, and provide knowledge and practical tools for developing their own businesses.
