Abstract
The role of self-assessment tools for teachers' digital competence in overcoming challenges in organizing the educational process is described. The features of self-assessment of teachers' professional competences are presented, which is an important problem today, which is being researched and discussed in the context of the development and self-development of teachers in the adult education system and in postgraduate education. Modern approaches to improving professional competences are identified, which involve independent mastery by teachers of digital tools and tools that they can use during the organization of the educational process.
