Abstract

The development of resilience in children with special educational needs (SEN) is a pressing issue that requires a comprehensive approach. Resilience, or the ability to withstand stress and life challenges, is a key factor influencing the quality of life and success of children with SEN, as they often face additional difficulties such as social isolation, low self-esteem, and limited opportunities for participation in educational and social activities. This study aims to identify methods that promote the formation of positive thinking, emotional stability, and social adaptation. In this context, the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, music therapy, and other creative approaches has been substantiated, as they enable children to express their emotions and develop self-regulation skills. The objective of this study is to explore and analyze healing techniques that foster resilience in children with SEN and to outline ways for their effective application in educational and therapeutic settings. To achieve this goal, an analysis of scientific publications and studies on healing techniques and resilience development in children with SEN was conducted. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that healing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, and music therapy are effective means for developing resilience in children with SEN, contributing to improved emotional well-being, enhanced self-esteem, and better social skills. Prospects for further research include the development of comprehensive support programs for children with SEN that integrate various healing techniques and the implementation of these programs in educational institutions.
