Abstract
Not only Ukrainian society, but the field of education in particular, is undergoing a profound digital transformation. Many aspects of daily life are now unimaginable without digital technology: paying utility bills, purchasing tickets, placing various orders, participating in asynchronous learning, or developing projects using specialized software. All of this can be accomplished silently – by typing texts, formulas, inserting personal data, taking tests, and giving lectures. A higher education student has taken digital proficiency even further: he has delegated a lot of his academic work to artificial intelligencet, that raises significant psychological concerns. Purpose: This study aims to conduct a general analysis of articles from scientometric databases on the use of artificial intelligence in education, with a focus on the psychological aspects of information and analytical support in higher education; to perform a SWOT analysis to identify potential threats, challenges, and opportunities related to the use of artificial intelligence in higher education; to outline new perspectives for the integration of AI in education, including strategies to mitigate dependence on technologies, such as ChatGPT and similar applications. Methods: analysis, synthesis, reflection questions, SWOT analysis, generalization were employed to understand the psychological aspects of information and analytical support in higher education regarding potential threats, challenges, and opportunities of artificial intelligence. It is observed that Artificial Intelligence, as a key driver of modern education transformation, serves as an effective tool, supporting all participants in the educational process. At the same time, the introduction of AI brings with it potential threats, challenges, and opportunities. Therefore, a deeper examination of the psychological dimensions of information and analytical support in higher education is essential to mitigate psychological problems regarding the correct, appropriate, and useful interaction with AI tools. The theoretical significance of the article lies in the application of analysis, synthesis, reflection questions, and SWOT analysis to explore the potential threats, challenges, and positive opportunities of artificial intelligence in higher education. The practical significance is reflected in the possibility of using the data obtained from the SWOT analysis and the resulting conclusions for writing student theses, etc.
