Abstract

The Russian-Ukrainian War has led to psychological trauma for a significant portion of our country’s population. The experience of psychologists working during this war has shown that in order to minimize the destructive consequences of traumatic wartime events, and to preserve the mental health of Ukraine’s younger generation and their mentors, psychological assistance and support must be provided not only to those who have been directly exposed to extreme situations, but also to those living under conditions of chronic, low-intensity stress. Unfortunately, the majority of today’s Ukrainian population is living under such conditions.
