Abstract

The article examines the influence of child-parent relationship on the resilience of younger schoolchildren. The role of the family environment, parenting styles, and the level of emotional support in shaping children's ability to overcome difficulties is examined. The main factors influencing resilience are analyzed, in particular, trusting relationships between children and parents, emotional involvement of adults, coping behavior models, and the features of children's adaptation to stress. The study was conducted using the "Kinetic Family Drawing" technique, which made it possible to assess the level of favorability of the family environment, the presence of conflicts, the degree of children's anxiety, and their ability to self-regulate. It was found that children raised in a warm, supportive environment demonstrate a higher level of resilience, adapt more easily to changes and stressful situations. On the other hand, emotionally cold or conflictual relationships with parents can cause increased anxiety, difficulties in social interaction, and a reduced ability to overcome life's challenges. Special attention is paid to the impact of crisis situations, in particular war, on family dynamics and psychological adaptation of children. It was found that in families that have faced separation, loss or changes in socio-economic status, children more often experience manifestations of emotional instability, decreased trust in the world, increased levels of anxiety and difficulties in establishing interpersonal contacts. The results obtained can be used to develop programs of psychological support for children and their families in crisis conditions. Practical recommendations are offered for parents, teachers and psychologists on creating a favorable emotional environment, forming resilience in primary school children and developing effective strategies for overcoming stressful situations.
