Abstract
The article analyzes the concept of resilience from the perspective of a resource approach. It is proven that resilience is a necessary resource that can contribute to successful adaptation in stressful situations with reaching a level associated with self-determination and self-realization of the individual. It is established that the study of resilience and factors of its purposeful formation is a relevant and socially significant task for psychological and pedagogical science and practice in today's conditions.
