Abstract

The article presents information on the results of the implementation of international projects of the European Union in the context of the research implementation by the Institute of Higher Education of the NAES of Ukraine. It shows, firstly, the impact of the Institute's participation in the international projects implementation on the quality of research results; secondly, the research results dissemination during the international projects implementation. It was emphasized that building the Institute's international activities on the principle of synergy of goals, objectives and outcomes of research and international projects contributes to ensuring the quality of research, PhD education and strengthening the authority of the Institute in Ukraine and abroad. The principle of synergy of the Institute's international activities lies in its duality: on the one hand, the research outcomes are used by the Institute to justify the Institute's participation as a partner in consortia and, accordingly, the joint preparation of project applications for grant programmes competitions, and on the other hand, the Institute, through participation in international projects, receives opportunities to use grant and partnership resources, study international experience and best European practices, directly being at partner universities in EU countries, to conduct research that meets the goals and objectives of the projects, disseminate research outcomes within the framework of international project activities, etc.
