Abstract
The section of the monograph is devoted to highlighting the content aspects of correctional and developmental work with children with special speech needs (SSN). The analysis is based on the author's Program for Correctional and Developmental Work "Development Correction" for grades 1-4 of special secondary education institutions for people with severe speech disorders, as well as the textbook "Overcoming Difficulties in the Cognitive Development of Children with Special Speech Needs." Special attention is paid to the disclosure of the content of the development of multimodal channels of perception, the improvement of praxis functions through the prism of speech, the correctional and developmental focus on the improvement of the emotional-volitional and personal spheres of primary school students with special speech needs. The stages of the formation of sensory standards in the conditions of onto- and dysontogenesis are revealed, the tasks for the development and correction of visual, auditory non-verbal and verbal functions are presented. The state of locomotor, mimic, oral, articulatory praxis is characterized, and tasks for the development and correction of praxis functions of younger schoolchildren with OMP are proposed. Emphasis is placed on confirming the hypothesis that the development of cognitive and speech functions of primary school students with OMP is not just the goal of the correctional and developmental process, but also a means of adaptation in the social environment. The essential role of the interconnection of mental operations, the importance of the development of the analytical and synthetic level of thinking in children with OMP is determined, various types of educational, correctional and developmental speech and cognitive tasks are presented. The state of the emotional-volitional and personal spheres of primary school students with OMP is characterized, and the tasks of the emotional-value direction of correctional and developmental work are proposed.
