Abstract
The article describes the process of selecting open access educational and scientific information systems and highlights their main scientometric indicators for monitoring a scientific institution. The purpose of the study is to identify the tools of open educational and scientific information systems and analyze their possibilities of use for monitoring the website of a scientific institution for the development of digital competence of research and teaching staff. The objective of the study is to monitor the website of a scientific institution on the example of the Institute of Digitalization of Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine using open educational and scientific information systems: the national scientometric database “Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science”, the international service Scilit, the electronic social network LinkedIn and the popular service YouTube. The monitoring shows that the integrated use of the selected web systems provides various key indicators, such as the number and types of publications, the number of citations, the Hirsch index in Google Scholar, Scopus and WoS, the ranking of scientific institutions and authors, as well as statistics on the number of users and page views of scientific institutions' web resources, etc.. The systems under consideration can be recommended for monitoring the web resources of domestic scientific institutions in order to track the impact and citation of scientific products, as well as to form a positive image of educational organizations. The conclusions of the article emphasize the importance of developing the digital competence of researchers for the productive activity of scientific institutions. Further research should focus on the creation of modern curricula and analysis of international experience in this area. The results obtained may be useful for employees of scientific institutions seeking to improve their activities in the digital environment.
