Abstract

The publication analyzes the application of the International Ranking "TRANSPARENT RANKING: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar" of electronic repositories of higher education and research institutions. This ranking is an important tool for assessing the visibility of higher education institutions and research institutions. It promotes open access, stimulates cooperation and improves the quality of scientific communications, which in turn has a positive impact on the research environment. At the same time, it is important to understand the challenges faced by institutional repositories and work to overcome them. The role of TRANSPARENT RANKING in modern science and education is extremely important. It not only provides up-to-date data for assessing scientific productivity, but also encourages the active use of institutional repositories, which ultimately leads to improved dissemination of knowledge and scientific ideas around the world.
