Abstract
The article explores the challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation of digital technologies in the Ukrainian education system. It analyzes technical barriers, digital inequality, the insufficient level of digital literacy among teachers and students, cybersecurity threats, and the cognitive and motivational risks caused by excessive use of online tools. Particular attention is given to the potential of digital innovations such as artificial intelligence, gamification, augmented and virtual reality, and the use of big data for personalized learning. The study emphasizes that effective integration of digital tools requires solving infrastructural issues and equipping educators and students with appropriate competencies. The article concludes by highlighting the need for a comprehensive approach to digitalization in education as a prerequisite for developing a modern, flexible, and resilient learning system.
