Abstract

The concept of the content of modern school literary education in the realities of the New Ukrainian School, based on the principles of personality-oriented, competence-based, cultural, activity-based and integrated approaches, text-centered, reader-centered, thematic-genre and chronological-style principles, is revealed. The content of teaching Ukrainian literature, an integrated course of literature in grades 5-6 and 7-9 is presented.
