Abstract
The article deals with the problem of development of digital competence of future specialists in the conditions of rapid digital transformation of society. It is emphasized that digital competence becomes a key requirement for a modern specialist since it ensures the successful use of information and communication and digital technologies in personal and professional life. The role of continuous education in the formation and development of digital competence of future specialists is considered and a comparative analysis of formal, non-formal and informal education in this context is carried out. Examples of successful practices in the development of digital competence in the conditions of formal education are considered including the modernization of the content of education programs and the content of teacher training programs taking into account the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the components of digital competence. Particular attention is paid to the role of non-formal and informal education in the development of digital competence which emphasizes the importance of motivation for self-development and continuous mastery of new digital technologies. Examples of successful projects and initiatives of non-formal education in Ukraine aimed at increasing the digital literacy of the population including the experience of Diya.Osvita. and online courses on developing skills in working with artificial intelligence. Given the special role of artificial intelligence technologies for the effective activity of a modern specialist we present a list of Ukrainian-language MOOCs for mastering AI technologies for beginners. The possibilities of information education for the development of digital competence are characterized and corresponding information sources such as social networks, thematic blogs, YouTube podcasts and education series are characterized which enable specialists to quickly receive the latest news and useful information about digital technologies as well as provide practical experience of professional collaboration through joining online communities.
