Abstract

The monograph is dedicated to a comprehensive study of academic supervision in the process of preparing degree seekers, focusing on key aspects of organizing the educational process, regulatory and legal frameworks, the development of individualized learning strategies, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards in scientific research. Special emphasis is placed on the role of the academic supervisor in developing research competencies among students, supporting their scientific growth, and guiding them through all stages of dissertation preparation—from formulating research problems and developing hypotheses to conducting empirical studies and implementing the obtained results in scientific, educational, and practical activities. Additionally, the monograph highlights key aspects of dissertation formatting and defense, methodological foundations of effective mentorship, and modern tools for building the professional image of a young researcher. This publication will serve as a valuable resource for PhD candidates, doctoral students, their academic supervisors, as well as faculty members and researchers involved in the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.
