Abstract

The programme has been prepared in the context of the requirements of the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education (2020) with indices of learning outcomes in the language and literature area. The structure of the programme includes performance, content and procedural components. The course of Ukrainian literature for grade 7 is based on the thematic and genre principle of study, and for grades 8-9 - on the chronological and stylistic principle, taking into account the genre and generic specifics of the works. The author suggests works for textual and extracurricular study, presents the concept of literary theory, presents works of various types of art for the realisation of the artistic context, and recommends various activities in Ukrainian literature lessons.
