Abstract
In higher education institutions (2017-2018): Teachers - 47% women, 53% men Heads: 1642 in total, of which 517 are women (less than a third), of which 53 are university rectors. In the 100-year history of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine (counting from the times of the Soviet Union, of which Ukraine was one of the republics), women have held the position of minister only 3 times (the last two times during the time of independent Ukraine).
