Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of psychological support and self-help for Ukrainians who have faced the need for forced displacement due to the war caused by Russian aggression. It demonstrates that in situations of forced displacement, special attention is needed for the development of the individual’s internal resources and certain competencies, such as: stress resilience, value-oriented meanings, self-confidence and critical thinking. At the experimental level, the jointness and mutual influence of these competencies are identified. The authors emphasize the importance of their development and self-development to be psychologically healthy in crisis conditions.
