Abstract
The role of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine in providing scientific and methodological support for the digital transformation of domestic education and science is highlighted. The key concepts of digitalisation, digital transformation and digital education are revealed. The text emphasises the significant contributions of scientists and members of the NAES of Ukraine in earlier periods towards the implementation of informatisation processes, particularly regarding their innovative educational and scientific institutional forms. Digital resources are important for the development of the sphere of education, and the field of psychological and pedagogical sciences, which currently operate with the direct support of the Academy, are described. The main activities of the scientific institutions within the NAES of Ukraine regarding digitalisation are outlined as follows: conducting research and developing digital educational technologies, creating digital educational content, providing training and professional development for teaching staff, offering expertise and consulting services, sharing best practices, and fostering digital culture and critical thinking. Additionally, the text describes the priority areas for scientific research related to digitalisation challenges. The Academy's enhanced influence on the digital transformation of education and science in the future is outlined, emphasising its crucial role in providing scientific and methodological support for the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process, as well as in psychological and pedagogical research.
