Abstract
The article analyzes the digital competence development of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers using the Google Analytics 4 information system. The concept of digital competence, its main components, and development methods are considered. Several key areas of solving the problem of developing digital competence of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers using open educational and scientific information systems that provide the opportunity for analysis, visualization, and work with data in real time are identified. The concept of one of the open access services – the Google Analytics 4 information and analytical system – is considered, and several key aspects should be considered when using it. The use of one of the scientific web resources – the Institute for Digitalization of Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – was monitored using Google Analytics 4 regarding the use and development of the website of the scientific institution and increasing the number of visitors to its users. The study aims to analyze some aspects and areas of digital competence development of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers using the Google Analytics 4 information system. The subject of the study is the process of developing digital competence using information and analytical systems, particularly Google Analytics 4. The main objectives of the study were to identify the main components and methods of developing digital competence, to analyze the capabilities of Google Analytics 4 for monitoring and optimizing web resources, to monitor the use of the website of the Institute for Digitalization of Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine using Google Analytics 4; to develop recommendations for improving the digital competence of scientists and teachers through the implementation of VONIS. Several promising areas for further research were identified to improve the quality of scientific and pedagogical activities and the integration of Ukraine into the international scientific space.
