Information support of national and patriotic education in the context of digitalization and digital transformation of education: conceptual principles of effective patriotism

Abstract

The proposed report presents the system of work of the Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support of Education of the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine on testing and implementation of the current results of the scientific research “Information and Analytical Support of Psychological Science in the Wartime and Postwar Periods of Ukraine” (state registration number: 0124U000842) and the results of applied scientific research in the subtopic “Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Psychology of Education and Self-Education”, which is carried out in 2024-2025. The theoretical results include: determination of the theoretical and methodological foundations of information and analytical support of psychological science in the wartime and postwar periods of Ukraine; determination of the conceptual foundations of national-patriotic education in the wartime period of Ukraine; information on the coverage of the problem of psychological science in the wartime period; publication of a number of electronic resources, in particular, “Information Support of National-Patriotic Education: Psychological and Pedagogical Aspect” within the online project “Education and Science in War”; providing information support to educators on information support for national-patriotic education under digitalization and digital transformation of education through a roundtable discussion. The roundtable outlined the main directions of information support for national-patriotic education in the context of digitalisation and digital transformation of education; defined the principles of information support for national-patriotic education in the context of digitalisation and digital transformation of education; provided conditions for the exchange of experience in information support for national-patriotic education in the context of digitalisation and digital transformation of education. The impact of this event is to form and strengthen national consciousness, identity and civic position in society through the creation of a single information space, strengthening national unity, developing patriotic feelings, forming an active civic position, and strengthening social responsibility.
